Dover Loyalty Scheme: Advantages of joining
Increased sales through greater exposure for your business – in the local paper (Dover Express), the web-site, also posters in your shop window. The following, show the range of benefits.
1) The Web-site: two-way links between your web-site and the Dover Loyalty Scheme web-site. If you don’t have a web-site, a good quality, 3 page web-site with 4 photos per page, can be created for you, for just £250.00; plus £10 per month for hosting (also includes domain name registration, this is paid separately to “EntryPoint”).
This will enable your business, contact details, including email address, your stock and your services and facilities, to be put on the internet, making you and your business, known Globally as well as of course, to Dover residents.
There will also be a “featured” business shown on every page every time someone logs onto the Loyalty Scheme web-site, so whatever people are looking for, they will see your business.
2) Advertising: no more costly newspaper advertising, we can do it all for you. Regular full page advertising of the Dover Loyalty Scheme’s participants in the Dover Express, will mean that you can put your discounts/special offers on the advert – probably saving you hundreds of pounds, during the course of a year. Posters will give details of all the participants, including their offers and will be placed in each participant’s window.
3) A Newsletter will be printed giving information about Dover, it’s businesses and those in the Loyalty Scheme, including of course, their discounts and special offers; there will also be the opportunity to advertise in the Newsletter.
4) Networking: Via the web-site and monthly networking meetings. If there are services and/or facilities you want to promote to other local businesses who are members of the scheme, this will be the place to do it – pro-active initiatives for pro-active members.
For example – providing meeting rooms, quality carpets, business and personal financial services, suits for the office, catering services, all sorts of business to business advice. There may be ways this can be expanded, for example attending Dover Chamber Breakfasts and/or others, promoting YOUR business and looking for new participants.
5) Introductory brochure: issued to new card-holders; giving information about the scheme, the participants and their (current) promotions and the benefits of being a member of the Dover Loyalty Scheme, as well as containing the card itself.
The Introductory brochure/card will be on display at various strategic Dover outlets as well as the participants’ shops.
6) Card-Holder database: A database of all the card-holders will be kept and will be available to every participant/member to use for their own marketing purposes.
This will be a very useful list of people who would shop in Dover, as their first choice, that you as a business can contact direct, to promote your individual products and services.
7) Flyer circulation: if you have any flyers you would like circulating (for free), Paul Brown’s (the originator of the scheme) will be happy to send them out in his information packs. The flyers must be no bigger than A4 and single sheet paper (not card). A maximum of 3 sheets (for 3 different companies – i.e. 1 per company), will be sent out each time.
8) Sponsored Events: Dover Loyalty Scheme will be happy to sponsor local community events – Christmas Lights switch-on; Carnival, Fireworks displays etc. For new business start-ups wishing to be participants of the scheme, DLS will promote the business launch event, inviting interested parties and the Press to the event.

For Card-holders
Pick up your Introductory Brochure/Membership
Card pack from any of the participating member’s retail
outlet; complete the registration form, hand to the member and
start shopping at a discount.
New Members

Cost of participating
There will be two levels of membership - platinum and silver.
Platinum will be offering all the above benefits for just £5.00 per week.
Silver will offer for £3.00 per week
All the advertising benefits.
